Privacy Policy

Interim text, pending final review.

Last updated: November 6, 2026

The Transload Distribution Association of North America (“TDANA,” “we,” “us”) is a nonprofit trade association. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through tdana.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you join or renew a membership, register for our annual conference, request a sponsorship, sign up for updates, or contact us, we collect what you enter in the form. This usually includes your name, title, company, business email, phone, mailing address, member type, and any notes you add. Conference registration may also ask for guest names, golf and activity selections, and dietary or accessibility needs.

Payment information. Card payments for dues and conference registration are processed by our payment processor, Authorize.net. TDANA does not store full card numbers on the Site. We keep a record of the transaction (amount, date, what was purchased, and the last four digits of the card).

Member directory information. If your company is a member, we publish business information you provide for the Member Directory and Transload Rail Dashboard, such as company name, member type, facility locations, phone, website, rail lines served, equipment, services, and commodities handled.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site and our hosting provider record basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring pages. We use cookies needed for the Site to work, and we may use analytics tools to understand how the Site is used.

2. How we use information

3. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Site, conference partners, members and the public for published directory information, and when required by law.

4. Retention

We keep membership, registration, and payment records as long as needed for association operations and for tax, accounting, and legal purposes, and then delete or de-identify them.

5. Your choices

You may ask us to update or correct your information, remove your company’s directory listing, or stop sending you marketing email. Contact us using the details below.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and a PCI-compliant payment processor. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Members outside the United States

TDANA serves members in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Information is processed and stored in the United States.

8. Children

The Site is intended for business professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Links to other sites

The Site links to member, sponsor, and partner websites. Their privacy practices are their own.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
